...last night was crazy. Let me just share it with you.
I was in a hotel on a business trip with my husband RJ. We were in another state, and I had gone with him for a meeting of some sort. I was to stay in the hotel, while he went to his meetings, and then we would sight see when he came back for the night. We checked into the hotel, which from all apearances was just a normal, fairly nice hotel. There was a king size bed, a really large bathroom, and a roomy closet. There was an additional door, which I didn't investigate. We went on to bed early because RJ had to be at the meeting very early in the morning.
When I woke he was already gone, and I could see a man standing outside the window looking in at me. I got out of the bed, and closed the curtains better, then laid back down. I suppose the window curtains were blowing due to the air conditioning in the room, and it blew back open to where he could see me. Worse yet, I could see him. I finally got out of bed, approached the window and told him to leave, which he did.
I got back in bed to go back to sleep for a while. Suddenly the door that I had not investigated opened, a man stepped into the room on the right of the bed. I asked him "What are you doing in here?" and he answered that he was trying to find his room, and that he had just got on an elevator to go the next floor. Turns out the door I had not investigated, was an elevator. That left open access to our room, with me laying in bed of all things, to whomever took that elevator. The man left our room through our exit door, and I got up to get dressed.
I went down to the front desk, and asked to speak to the manager. I explained that I was laying in bed when a door opened into our room, and a man got off an elevator that led directly into our room. He explained that when I signed in, I signed up for that room knowing that the elevator would dump out beside my bed. Ludicrous of course. Well he showed me the fine print, and it said that I was agreeing to allow other people into my room, at any time. Hmmmmm! What a poorly designed hotel.
I woke up wondering what this dream meant. I mean heck I am not into strangers. I speak if spoken to when I pass one, but I would never allow them to just enter my bedroom where I was sleeping. Do I have a fear of someone entering my room while I am sleeping? Well maybe. Mostly I think it means I ate too much barbequed chicken last night.
peace ;D shemelts
