We all fall down...

We took our grand JH to a pumpkin patch this weekend, which was his first big event of this sort. There were several acres of different stations for children of all ages to play. There was a lot of room to offer freedom of movment between the stations. JH can run like the wind. RJ and I not so much. He only ran ahead of us one time, bless him. He enjoyed the really huge slides, with absolutely no fear of falling. We rode a cow train, which was hilarious because the driver was driving so fast. You know how those little trains creep along in the mall? Well this one was the opposite. JH and I were in the back car, and we were whipped all over the place. Fun stuff.

Perhaps the biggest event of the day was when JH and I jumped on a big balloon trampoline. It looked easy enough, but it was not. I fell within the first few seconds of being on it, and JH went down with me. We never regained our footing. I laughed, and laughed. I am quite sure there is somewhere a video of me being bounced in the air on that big ball. I had to laugh at myself. Whoa is me! I don't think I hurt myself in that fall, though I did hear something crack in my left shoulder. Dang it all to h*ll.

We then went on a hayride, absent the hay to the pumpkin patch to pick out a pumpkin. JH was in hog heaven during this part of the day. He darted around touching every small pumpkin, bumpy pumpkin, and large pumpkin. He finally settled on a medium size pumpkin, and a teeny weeny one that he carried (stole) in his little chubby hand. He held onto that tiny pumpkin the rest of the day, though it is now lost in my house. Oops!

All in all that was a good $42.00 spent on a day with JH. It costs too much money to have fun anymore. 2 adults and 1 child should not have to spend $42.00 to play on a farm, and pick out a pumpkin. These people are raking in a fortune. Nonetheless I am thankful for the time we had. We can eat beans and potatoes the rest of the week. :D

Yesterday we took JH, and the puppies (all 3 of them) outside to play. JH rode his 4 wheeler all over the property. Sunshine (adult daughter) had brought the grandpuppies in, and they were having a blast running around. That was until they went under the fence, and we had to go retrieve them. I shimmied over the fence, and Sunshine stepped over a brake in the fence (from a tree falling). We retrieved all of our dachshunds, and came back into the yard. I stepped over the brake in the fence, and got my foot caught. I fell like a tree. I started laughing, basically because it was funny. I did hurt some ribs though. I am unsure if they are broken. Due to where they are located, I will probably go have some xrays to see. Not sure what the protocol is, but I do not want a punctured lung, or heart. Bleh!

Last night Sunshine, RJ and I watched the debate. What a cluster. I did not like the way Donald Trump stalked around the stage while Hilary spoke. He is not a gentleman at all. A gentleman would have sat still. I think it was an intimidation technique, but it just served to make him creepier than he already was. If that is possible at all. This election cycle is bonkers. Trump creeps me out, but he always has. I couldn't watch the Apprentice because of the way he treated the people. I suppose maybe I like a man that is somewhat a gentleman, or at least pretends to be in public. Bleh!

I commented on Trumps demeanor on my fb, and faced a sh*tstorm of criticism. I don't care for that. I was just making an observation about his manners on stage. People are so up in arms, and feel the need to defend his every move. Donald Trump can speak for himself, even when he isn't speaking. He is a predator, and his actions speak of his true self. Zebras don't change their stripes, and I refuse to believe that every man thinks it is okay to grab a woman by the crotch, or to force affection on her. Creepy McCreeper.

Well I'm gonna hop off of here and get this party started. I can't lift anything without pain, so I'm thinking it will be a lazy day for me. I'll still work, but will conserve energy as much as possible. You all have a blessed day, and be a blessing. Thank God it is a light week in the daycare as it is Fall break.

peace :D shemelts

weren’t you the one who used to say “take care of YOU?” If not, it would be a good slogan for you to adopt.

Ha Ha Ha Ha Hey, do you have a farm? Fields? Tractors? No? But you presume that the cost to the farmers is too much. eye roll………………….Not yours, babe. If you don’t have it, can’t offer it, but want it……………um……………pay it or don’t. I come from generations of farmers, shit loads of hard work, so much loss of money, but……….it’s what they DO. Like you and whatever it is you do.

I, too, commented on Trump’s behavior and the shitstorm began!!! I tried hard to overcome my myself and be nice to a person just months over the legal drinking age of 21. But………..oh, no……………..she knows everything and I’m ignorant and stupid and oblivious. I laugh and I’m pissed and hell…………..life is not what it was as I came of age, that’s for damned sure. Sigh.

Life, chock full of billions of people, each one unique and with their own experiences is what it is. Never perfect. We do the best we can with what we’ve got, it must be good enough since we’re still here.
